Chapter 1

Day 1

We just arrived at our new land. Our family didn't understand why we wanted to adventure to an unknown land, but Dad and I knew it was something that we wanted to do. My wife, Peace, and Mom, Passionate One, just wanted Dad, and I to be confident that we wanted it and that this wasn't just some passing idea. Dad is the best farmer and rancher that you can find, so when he said that he was moving, most of his farmhands moved with us. Dad, Mom, me, and my wife travelled in a wagon that was pulled by two unicorns; they are the largest of the Rhinoceros species and their signature distinction is that they have a singular massive horn on their snout. It's not uncommon for people to have animals doing heavy work, and there are even some people who seem to understand animals. Before we left, we had been told by Noah that we may encounter animals which we don't know, but to keep in mind that we have authority over them.

The place which Dad picked for us to settle was on a hill overlooking a large area of flat-land. It was close to a river and there wouldn't be much clearing out that needed to be done because most of the land designated for farming didn't have trees. There was a nice spread of trees in the area where our houses would be, and they would help keep the houses cool in summer. Tomorrow we will start to build the house for Dad, Mom, me, and my wife. Our workers will also start building their houses tomorrow. Once everyone has finished building their houses, then we'll be able to make pens and fenced areas for our livestock and other animals. Before my wife and I go to sleep we pray thanking God that we, our family, workers, animals, and possessions got here safely.
